It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to our web page. Our Webmaster and Information Management team have worked very hard to ensure that we greet you with a professional presentation, and we hope that you will find it to be enlightening, informing, and encouraging.
You should also know how we became knows as Prince Hall Masons:
- We came into being on March 6, 1775 when Prince Hall and fourteen other free Black men were made Masons, and on April 29, 1787 after much skullduggery the Charter to establish African Lodge #1 was delivered.
- Grand Lodge of Prince Hall Masons have prevailed in Illinois since May 6, 1867,
- Looking forward to our future, focusing on the tenets of Faith, Hope, and Charity.
- Looking forward to improve relationships through dignity, respect and honor throughout our Jurisdiction, and around the world.
- Last but not least, as Masons, we are focused, and strive by taking one man at a time exposing him to things in life that will help him to become a better man.
Enjoy the presentation on our main page and may the spirit of the deity be with you and your family always.
God bless, and thanks for watching.
