The mission of Freemasonry is to promote a way of life that binds like-minded men in a worldwide brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social and educational differences; by teaching the great principles of brotherly love, relief and truth; and, by the outward expression of these through its fellowship, to find ways in which to serve God, family, country, neighbors and self.
The mission of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Illinois is to enhance the image of Prince Hall Masonry in the State of Illinois and to enhance communities through the principles of faith, hope and charity. Efforts through the promotion of these principles will continue to drive the efforts of Masons across the state in introducing programs that provide relief to communities and support to enhance community improvement objectives. In doing so, the bonds between the fraternity and communities continue to be strengthened and citizens benefit as a result.
The vision of Freemasonry is the recognition of the organization as a pillar for perpetual improvement in society from the results of the efforts that are based upon high moral and social standards.
The vision of the Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Illinois is to make the institution of Freemasonry into a relevant and integral part of Illinois communities where Masons have a presence into and beyond the 21st Century.
